Long hair has been a staple for Zooey over the years. Alternating between a super long hair style with bangs, curls and shorter versions still considered long.

Zooey Deschanel made her way into the Film Independent's Spirit Awards with this long gorgeous 'do. The layers through the sides and back added body and bounce to her look which enhanced her waves through the mid-lengths to the ends. The blunt bangs on this style create contrast and complete this look brilliantly.

Soft, sexy side swept bangs are a great addition to any long layered hair style. This hair style, see photo left, features a partial updo with hair secured in a low ponytail. Hair has been softly curled all over for a very romantic look.

To achieve this style, first apply a styling lotion to damp hair and blow dry using a diffuser attachment and just your fingers to shape and position the hair.

Add soft curls all over using a medium barrel curling iron or hot rollers. Finish off the style with a spritz of shine serum to seal the hair cuticle and allow the shine through.
