Long and straight hair styles just got fancier, thanks to Katherine Mcphee from American Idol Season. Before creating this style, you will need to blow dry your hair straight and smooth.  There are many different straightening creams and gels that will help you create the smooth look.

 

For extra smooth hair, you might want to run a flat iron over the hair, from roots to the ends and spritz a shine serum all over the hair.  Extra shiny locks will be yours.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This lovely star looked great at Cosmopolitan Magazine's Launch For BEBESPORT Mondrian with her stunning, full, dark tresses. Soft shaped layers were cut around her top and side sections to create this full and textured, wavy style. This style will work best on medium to thick hair types.

 

 

Also, see photo right, long straight hair with long, eyebrow length bangs, make for a great combination hair style.  Notice that the hair is extra shiny and straight.  This look can be achieved with a shine serum product--that is one that contains silicone to coat the hair cuticle.
