Gabrielle has mastered the long hair style with this fantastic, super shiny partial updo and sleek chignon, picture above.

To create this style, apply a straightening cream all over hair and blow dry using a large paddle brush.  Direct all hair down and under.

Create the extra smooth finish by running a flat iron over the hair from roots to the ends.  Always be sure to apply some sort of heat protectant to the hair before using any hot appliance.

Part hair on the far side and at a slight angle towards the back of the head.  Pull all or most of hair into a high ponytail, securing in place.

 

 

The style can be accentuated with a decorative headband or a hair piece.  Also, keep in mind that if you do not have super long hair like Gabrielle Unions, you can always purchase a hairpiece that matches your hair color and create this same look.  Simply clip the hair piece on top of your own hair and position hair so that your shorter hair is covered.

Adding a shine serum or spray to the hair always helps to create the extra shiny, smooth look.
